When measured against the first film, this sequel is not that bad. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is leaps and bounds better than the first movie. I really thought about walking out of the first movie it was so bad. I had friends that thought the first movie was so bad it was funny, I just thought it was so bad it was bad. Now this movie was so bad it was funny, but I think that may have been the intent. Nicholas Cage was over the top nuts, and the acting was so crazy it was laughable, but the character of Ghost Rider was described as an angel that was driven mad so they actually explained the crazy which made the over the top acting of Nicholas Cage understandable. All in all, this had the feeling of a fun B movie with laughs at some cheesy parts, some really good special effects (better than B movie special effects), and some really fun action scenes. I would recommend waiting for video so you can get some laughs at home in the comfort of your own living room and not pay the jacked up 3D movie prices. If you like the character of Ghost Rider, this movie was a lot better than the first installment, so you may want to give it a try, I mean come on, from the first movie, it couldn't have gotten any worse.
